ABOUT THE LAZY FROG

Once upon a time...
Our story began while vacationing on Martha's Vineyard back in 2003. We were staying with a friend who lived on the island (free place to stay- you can't go wrong). The house was decorated with various pictures and plaques of the island - some just the outline of the island.

One night we were all hanging out and Jake made a comment that the shape of the island looked like a lazy frog. Just an innocent comment. He started telling everyone and got such a great reaction that when we got home he drew The Lazy Frog. Hence, Marvin the Lazy Frog was born.

On May 27, 2005 we opened our retail store to help spread leisure, fun and the vacation spirit. Our new logo represents the laid back feeling of Martha's Vineyard. We hope to provide you with all the tools to make your visit to Martha's Vineyard a memorable, fun and relaxing time.

We appreciate all your business and support that made our first, second, third and now fifth season a Leaping success and a Hoppy time! We look forward to providing you with a FUN and LEISURE experience in the seasons to come.

Starting in 2009 we moved from Edgartown to our new location on Circuit Avenue in Oak Bluffs.

Meet Marvin, our Lazy Frog
During the summer of 2008 we thought we had a Martha, but once our Lazy Frog started singing we knew we had a Marvin instead. He is a toadally lazy frog.
Introducing Vinnie, our Albino Lazy Frog
He's our new edition this year. A little more active, but he's still young.
